Kenny is flying for enjoyment, recreation, and family pleasure.

Recent flights include trips to: Santa Paula, Lake Havasu City (KHII), Camarillo (KCMA), Chino (KCNO),  Tehachapi (KTSP)/Lancaster (KWJF), Calexico, (KCXL), Flabob (KRIR), and Riverside (KRAL).

On November 1st, 2009 Kenny and David visited Santa Paula Airport and enjoyed seeing the many open display hangers, a wide variety of aircraft, and chatting briefly with former AMA Superbike Champion and pilot Reg Pridmore at his beautiful hanger.

Aircraft flown to date include: C172M, C172N, C172SP, C172R, PA-28R, C182T, CT182T, 8KCAB, C152, PA-44

  • Feb. 22, 2007 First Solo N562AD C172SP at KSEE

  • August 2007 Completion of "Confidence Course" / Spin training at Sunrise Aviation (incl 4 turn spin recovery and 3.5g Spilt-S maneuver)

  • Dec. 5, 2007 Completion of F.A.A. Practical Test - Private Pilot Certificate issued

  • Feb 2008 Refresher/completion of Spin Training (incl. Split-S and Loop maneuvers)

  • Sept. 2008 Pinnacle Aviation Ground School - G1000 transition course w/King Schools "Cleared to Fly the G1000 VFR" course

  • Sept. 2008 Complex Aircraft Endorsement / Pinnacle Aviation Academy

  • Oct. 2008 High-performance Aircraft Endorsement / Pinnacle Aviation Academy

  • Dec 2008 Began F.A.A. "Wings" Pilot Proficiency Program

  • Dec 2008 Joined U.S.A.F. Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol - Squadron 57 in El Cajon, CA

  • Jan 2009 Completed "Basic" phase of F.A.A. Wings program

  • Dec 2009 First Multi-Engine flight and cross-country (PA-44 Seminole)
